In 2020 the mango market and prices collapsed when numerous lockdowns and logistical problems occurred at the start of the COVID-19 pandemic. The average import price (value-weight ratio) went up in 2019 for the first time since 2015 due to periods with lower availability (see Figure 2). But in the long term, the market continues to grow in size.
